Santa Catarina “passou o trator” no Brasil Beer Cup e 18 cervejarias de diferentes regiões do Estado conquistaram mais de 150 medalhas no concurso nacional (saiba quais abaixo). O evento começou na segunda-feira passada (7) e foi até quinta-feira (10), com uma cerimônia de premiação no sábado (12), em um hotel no bairro Cacupé, em Florianópolis, reunindo mais de 2,5 mil rótulos de 16 países.
O concurso é considerado o maior encontro cervejeiro internacional da América Latina. Os produtos foram avaliados às cegas por mais de 100 jurados nacionais e internacionais em diferentes categorias e estilos. Entre os destaques catarinenses estão cervejarias tradicionais do Vale do Itajaí e marcas que vêm ganhando espaço com receitas autorais, cervejas envelhecidas, sours, IPAs e outros estilos.
A Stannis, por exemplo, foi um dos principais destaques entre as catarinenses, com um total de 54 medalhas, seguida por cervejarias como Karsten, 048, Unika e Lassberg. As premiações buscaram valorizar a qualidade técnica e sensorial de bebidas com medalhas de ouro, prata e bronze às melhores amostras, além de menções de Honra ao Mérito.
